I graduated from the University of Southampton in 2013 with a BS in Psychology, focusing on the benefits of creativity and creative outlets for young neurodivergent adults. In 2015, I decided to launch Beau Bottletops, driven by the need for a creative outlet alongside my full-time job. Creating handcrafted art pieces filled with hope and optimism allowed me to sustain my career in the social care field. My aim is to make these creative outlets accessible to everyone, promoting the artistic process as a therapeutic outlet while bringing vibrant energy into your eyes, homes, shops, pubs, and personal spaces. My pieces embody freedom, self-discovery, and a profound appreciation for life’s intricacies, inviting each observer to interpret them in their own way. I have a passion for recycling and repurposing items that might otherwise be discarded, as I believe beauty truly lies in the eye of the beholder. Inspiration strikes in various forms—whether roaming local antique and charity shops or traveling the world to absorb new techniques and ideas. Each journey allows me to encapsulate the essence of the places I visit in my creations. I draw particular inspiration from Victorian Curiosity boxes, crafting my pieces as an evolution of the concepts behind these intriguing boxes.
